Parents also serve on the Leadership Council. Through this service, parents have an opportunity to assist with special projects throughout the year. In addition, parents provide an important perspective on RSH communication materials and marketing efforts.
One of the three fundamental pillars of a YWPN education is the development of women leaders. This is incorporated into RSH through the Leadership Council that is comprised of students, faculty, parents, community leaders, administrators, and YWPN leadership.
The Leadership Council oversees the implementation of RSH and allows students to provide input about how lessons are taught in the classroom, strategize the ways social media and other communications may be used to continue conversations, and assist in documenting classroom discussions. Projects, outreach, and other programs are also determined through theLeadership Council. Each member offers a valuable perspective to both gauging the effectiveness of the program and helping determine when we need to revise, communication, and explain to ensure a clear understanding of our intent and implementing the RSH curriculum.
The RSH website was created by two student members of the RSH Leadership Council and will be maintained throughout the year by other members as well.
